Disaster Relief Support
On May 16, Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County's storage warehouses were destroyed by the tornado that damaged the Clear Creek area of Bloomington. We stored construction materials, tools, ReStore overstock items, and our work trucks at this leased location. We are grateful to have insurance to cover some of our losses, but your support will help us get back on track building affordable housing with our local neighbors even sooner.
Thank you for your support!
We are so grateful that this damage was limited to our materials, and that our homeowners and neighborhoods were not significantly harmed by the storm. We will need to replace and/repair our work trucks, replace tools and materials, and locate a new warehouse storage space in the weeks ahead. Your gift today will help make this all possible, and we are so grateful.
